Live Sound Engineer
A Live Sound Engineerhas the job of recording, copying, editing, mixing, and reproduction of any sound that is made by electronic and/or mechanical equipment. At a live band gig for example he or she will use a variety of recording applications for example a high-tech microphone, which will record even the slightest variations in sound. A console boards is another essential item belonging to a Live Sound Engineer, these are used to control the sound input while recording or editing the music. They include a variety of switches, dials, lights, and meters, so they can often seem quite daunting to look at if by the general public. By means of switches and dials on the mixing boards, sound engineers monitor the sound input in terms of the volume, and sound quality. These lights and meters facilitate the Live Sound Engineerto understand exactly the sounds that are being recorded and their intensity, so that sound they record is perfect to the ear of the listener.
